U-Cut Roses Info and Details

Between two locations, Cabrillo-cottage-farms in Aptos and Birdsong Orchards in Watsonville, there are approximately 2000 roses in the ground to admire, smell and cut!

Deeply fragrant, lush and in every color. We want to share them with you! Come enjoy cutting a bucket of roses for your own pleasure, to share with family and friends, or make it a group outing. See our product catalog for u-cut purchase options.

Hybrid tea roses, floribundas, grandifloras, David Austin, Meilland, Kordes roses - we have them all, in every shade of the rose rainbow, with new varieties added every year. Here you can smell the roses, and then cut and fill your bucket with amazing blooms to take home.
 We will provide everything you need for cutting.

Reservations and opening day for 2026 at both locations will be announced in early spring.

Things you may like to bring include a 
sun hat, water bottle, sun screen, and sturdy shoes. If you bring your own pruners, we will ask your to wash them in our cleaning solution before cutting.

Beyond roses, our farm grows 200 varieties of tree fruits, with an emphasis on rare and diverse heirloom varieties. Depending on the season, we will have fruit for sale as well as cut flowers bunches and professional floral arrangements..
